srry 4 not tellin u

yes i knew
and i'm sorry i didn't tell you
it's just that i felt it wasn't my place
now it came back and hit me in the face
i get that ur feeling hurt and betrayed
and i'm sorry that i contributed to making you feel this way
but please try to understand where i'm coming from
because this thing cant be undone
i truly believe that you needed to hear from her not me
this situation isn't as bad as it may seem
she was scared to tell you, outta fear that you might hate her
and although it took her some time, she finally came through
because it was killing her inside, covering up the lie
she wanted to tell you, just look into her eyes

Hello breebree, This is a wonderful expression of what it feels like to be trapped in difficult emotions.. to avoid being expressively hurtful to another person when you were not responsible for any hurt tells me much about your great character. For you to feel as though you needed to shoulder this responsibility also tells me you are wise beyond your age. I have been there! This is my first comment.on this site. Please keep writing. This is an amazing piece.. I feel you have given the accountability in this. Honest emotions expressed. Wonderful!!

To capture one's emotions, dissect them into their component sensibilities and draw out a choice for what is good (for the other) then formally craft the words to capture its dynamics, i.e. qualms (first 3 lines), concern for the pain the deed brought to other persons (4th to 8th lines), resolution from the point of view of the poet (9th to 14th lines). Basically a good structure to develop a poetic expression, the overriding use of small letters though reduces the impact of the poet's resolve to confront oneself, or was it a forced admission that one seemed to mumble the words "sorry".

being party to info/secrets when we'd rather not have known get that feelin that whichever course you choose someone gets hurt n blames you hard at any age but not supposed to hit 1 so youngpoem speaks of that desperation

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
