Poem Commentary

This is my first attempt in meter. I've heard there is joy in the struggle.

Vincent Van Goh

I own five prints of Vincent (Van Goh)

They hang on crowded walls

They're stylish in their abstract style

From astral he saw it all

Olan01 commented on Vincent Van Goh

I like Van Gogh's work and the tragedy that was his life, for he lived his life free of restriction placed on him by society and only wrestled with his self to complete his personality. He never sold much while alive; such is the fate of artists and poets and as such you are worth more dead than alive. It is such a sad commentary on our society that the creative mind is worthless to the whole.

Thank you Olan01, I hope you enjoyed it

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
