Poem Commentary

I don't know if i will work on this one again. I wrote the day I found out that my great grandmother had left this world for a better one. She loved to garden. After I wrote it my daughter had asked where she had going. I told her " Grandma is building a garden for us in heaven." It had seemed to answer all for her.

waiting

I'm waiting till the day we meet again.
The sarrow of losing you fills my heart now,
but soon will pass.
It will be a bitter memory.
I'm waiting for the day you will greet me as I
enter the beautiful garden you have made.
Setting there now watching it grow,
like I did in the warmth of your love.
I'm waiting for the day for my sarrow to end
For the warmth of your love reminds me of the warm sun,
with no clouds of tears to fall anymore.
I'm waiting for that day.
Will you wait for me?

we live a life of loss and it sure is hard but you have faith that you will see her again and i agree

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
