War if it must! 4/08

War if it must! 4/08
Charles W. Paschal aka Raykmond aka Bullwhip

They talk of our deficit
this world that we owe.
But what of the benefits,
that we often bestow?

What about the loans,
the rebuilding we did?
To Europe that moans
at what Hitler, once bid.

Let me ask this
this night of lost sleep,
to whom do you owe
for your freedom you sheep?

We have fought hard
to help those in need.
But for us their isn't a shard
of strength to be freed.

I stand up for freedom,
the flag, and old glory.
And for some on this day
it is said an old story.

But this night of lost dreams
I but on thing do say,
I will fight to the last
with my friends on this day.

For the America I know
does not give in to fear,
but stand strong to the blow
that the enemy might rear.

So come ll yea aliens
that wish us most harm.
For you will find Patriots
defending their farm.

Till death if it must
on this day we do meet.
Freedom or bust
for this nation we seek.

One nation under God
this is our demand.
Or rot under the sod,
win or be damned!
