What Us Means To Me

What Us Means To Me

I don’t think you have a clue

How much I truly love you

You’re my second skin

You are half of my strength

That pushes me onward

You complete me

Making me see my beauty within

Loving me without doubt

Waking me up from my nightmare

To bring me back to Life

You’ve encouraged me to take a chance

Rid my life of the Pain

Looking thru your eyes

I saw how horribly tragic

My life must have seemed

If you hadn’t come along

It was headed down a dark road

As I stand before you

A bit more Courageous

Than where I began

Letting go of those silly Fears

That tried to bury me alive

You loving me

Battered and Bruised

Dealing with My Tears

Fears of a child’s Cry

You brought me to Life

Breathing your love into me

Waking my Soul up

Reviving My Spirit

Looking Through Your Eyes

I see hope in them

You crept inside me

Wrapped yourself around my heart

Got inside my head

Existing within me

Touching my very Soul

Your heart beating with mine

From Miles away

I feel your breath on my neck

Our fingers intertwined

Side by side

In an embrace

Even though my bed is empty

I feel you beside me

You touching me as I sleep

You are in Me and Me in You

One are We

So close but yet so far

My heart aches for you

I know you feel it

Just like you feel my rain

I don’t think you have a clue

What you mean to me

Although You should

I wake up with you in my mind

Missing you every hour of every day

Wondering if you are thinking of me too

Smiling knowing you are

Playing back something you said

That made me laugh or cry

How much I care about what you think

Even if I am stubborn

And like to disagree

Challenging you

Making you laugh at me

Oh we may fight

But only for a night or two

Back to us

Our Love is too strong

Wins out every time

A bond that is unbreakable

This Love of ours

Wakes me everyday

And kisses me goodnight

Couldn’t live without it

Love You and Love Us
