Widerness
Once was lost
so blind
I
couldn't see
had a cane
that had to guide
me
it crippled my mind
also
placed
scales
on
my
eyes
in-trapped
also
control
all of
me
worldly ways was my cane
that controlled and guided
me
stuck in the wilderness
weeds, vines
cover every which way
everything of the world
corrupted and blinded
me
cried for help
Help me
I can't
see
scared
I
was
covered it up
so the
world
wouldn't
see
a
image
on the out side
boldness I showed
but deep down in the inside
a frighting
human bean
taking over
me
rushing through the wilderness
screaming for help
help
help
someone come
and
help
me
the more I ran in the wilderness
the deeper
I
got
it took all my energy
also
my
breath
within
I stop in the wilderness
couldn't run, no-more
failed
on
the
ground
heart beat and racing
so fast
the weeds and vines
rushing
to take over
my mind, body and soul
tears rushing down the
face
heart hurting, while a sharp pain stabbing me
in chest.
the little breath I had left
help
help
I'm tired of running this same race.
A voice whisper to me
Stop running the race by yourself
I'm the only one
who can, help you through this race.
I ask, who are you.
the voice spoke: to me
I am, I am
the way
truth
and
the
light
Christ
Jesus
who can
set your
mind
body
and
you
free.
Put your trust in me.
I spoke to him, stating
I believe
I believe
my heart
felt
different
help me
my Lord
He help me through
the wilderness
and
saved
a filthy rag
like
me.
Now, I'm not blind
my cane
not of this world any more
Christ Jesus
is
my everything
HE
SAVED
ME!
Yes, a filthy rag
that was
me.
