    Writers Block

Fingers burning with an ache to write

No words flow from this psyches insight

The urge to create, exhilarating brilliance

But no words flow, for minds resilience

If only to put paper to pen

    Don't ponder

    The words swim in Zen

The paper moves under black ink

The pressure to form and to think

    Such amazement to know

    That words can glow

Into magic for mind and heart sync

you should never force thought or you force concluding ends when material doesnt form in solid state use your time taking in things to write about

you didn't make any sense in your comment "material doesn't form in solid state" i have no clue what states of matter have to do with my poem, and im not sure what your comments intent was anyway. all in all your very confusing, i wrote that poem for fun, i didn't spend an hour writing it, it was a meer 10 minutes of free time i had.

True, I have this all the time, but I get lost on how I should start it off, then I lose my concentration. I crave to write every hour on the hour. If only I could put pen to my mind and let it do the writing for me.

Very good imagry for a young poet. You resist all the pitfalls most younger writers fall into...I bet your poetry with be excellent as you gain additional life experience.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
