Your Kind Of Love
How many times would I cryeverytime I found out you deceive me
How many times would I die
from depression and self-pity
How many times would I sigh
for contentment that never comes
How many times would I pray to God
for help and perseverance.
How many times would I learn to
forgive without pretending
How many times would I count for
blessings painted only in dreams
How many times would I live and
re- lived from survival
How many times would I succumb
to self- surrender?
How much more times would I endure
the hurts you gave me
How much longer will I grasp for breath
as if drowning from the sea
What really kind of love are you giving
me now,
It puzzles me so much when you said
you love me somehow.
