" And I Still Love You"

There is a time in your life…
Where compromise is non-existent…
A Man can only feel destitute…
Push never comes into play…

It has only been there since birth…
A sentence…
Words spoken…

A lifetime sentence...

Spoken from pain…
From A person…
At a moment…
For their reason…

Pain…

My sleeping nightmare…
Forever…
Since a child…
Given to me by the mother…

Putting out their pettiness for their anger…
To feel control…
For ones sense of inadequacy…
As if I have none of my own…

Taking their anger to make pain disapate…
Pushing it to others...
I am not the one...
A sad thing...

Yet, causing more for each…
We still…
Must grow…

I am sorry for your pain…

And I still love you…

The poem is very honest and emotional..........so beautiful of you....I enjoyed when i read it:)

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
