A Bad Day
A bad day is when you wake up late,
when someone sneezes on your plate,
when your boss says that your late
and found someone to take your place,
the unemployment line is your fate.
Abad day is when you fall down,
break your leg and bust your crown,
now your looking like a clown
while people are all gathered round.
Bleeding here and bleeding there,
the surgeon he has to prepare,
cut you open, look around,
can't imagine what they found.
They stitched you up and turned you around,
out the door you were bound
until some lady said to you pay this bill before you go.
A bad day is when your lady friend
dumps you for another man.
She takes the house and the car,
she takes the kids, she's gone to far.
You call your lawyer to no prevail,
your lawyers who she left you for.
So in the morning when you wake,
pray you don't have a bad day.
