A Miracle

A Miracle

A wonderful creation
The two of us have made
A purely joyus love
That can never fade away
A baby boy so precious
Little hands , and tiny feet
I love you so much already
I can't wait till we meet
I long to hold you in my arms
And see your little smile
To sing a lulliby and watch you sleep a while
To be there when your eyes first open
To see you wake and take that little yawn
To feed you just before the break of dawn
Though a name has not been chosen
Cause we must find the perfect one
Not just any name is good enough
For our miracle son !

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
