Places of The Mind

Places of The Mind

My mind is playing tricks on me
My ears don't hear whats said
My eyes don't see whats really there
As doubt starts to fill my head

I believe he really loves me
I know he would'nt lie
I know he'll always love them to
And that will never die

Where will this all end up
No one really knows
I have to believe and trust in him
If I want our love to grow

So don't assume what you don't know
Or believe you've heard it all
Things are rarely as they seem
And you never know it all

Why thank you , I really like it too and it does say something to all that read it

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
