A NEW LOVE WORLD

A NEW LOVE WORLD

A skin's speck or shade more;
Sometimes one less.
Yet, I cannot look away, nonetheless
Hath no impair, his wonderful grace
Which waves in every raven tress,
As I stare bewildered, toward his face.
Are his thoughts serenely, and sweetly expressed?
Are they pure, are they dear;
Will he hold true, my hearts very best?
Yet I gaze upon that cheek, and over that brow,
When should I say it,
Is that time now?
My arms want to come closer
To caress every part of him
Inside I feel, so soft, so calm, but, yet eloquent,
Its the smiles that win,
with the "tints" that glow,
Please tell me
Being here is goodness spent,
That I have found
A heart whose love is innocent!

That I am entering a love world
with charm and beauty,
will bring peace, commitment and hope.

As I gaze upon you, please let me know...
Are you the one that's truly for real...
Or are you just another,
that will hold a heart in his hand,
and quickly let it go?

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
