A Red Dead Sky

A Red Dead Sky

I dream a world that doesnt burn,
And walk beneath a sky,
As red as dead as Autumn day,
Wishing i could fly,

Because i know it's not the one,
That i will live to see,
I see a world already burnt,
A world not meant to be.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
