I will always be young
I always knew from birth to death
What would cause my final breath
That I would always be young
We walked alone on different shores
Defined by guilt through different wars
And I will never grow old
I watched as moments passed me by
I watched my truth become a lie
And so I ran away
I caught your eye in a different place
I walked across to see your face
And so I fell in love
Cause now we see,
That we could be,
All the memories that we need
In the shorts lives that we lead
My illness won't define me
I will live an early life and I will die beside
I will die a happy man knowing I had died
Alongside the one I love
I will die a happy man
Knowing that I give
My life to someone that I love
And knowing that you live
But I will never grow old
