Another sunny day
I have no mind but I must dream
I have no mouth but I must scream
The sadness of the life we live
Is that we can't decide
We tell the world of all our truth
But can't really confide
We taught ourselves to walk and run
To begin to start again
We start to talk and the story starts
From the paper to the pen
Towards the moon and stars we fly
The sun is that which ends
It means the day before has gone
From new light that it sends
In the life that we let pass
We lie to keep a smile
We watch as steps will pass us by
Though walk a solemn mile
The really sad ending is
That if I had a gun
I would probably choose to leave
To never see the sun
The really sad ending is
That even though it's full
That in my head, my life is not
And the trigger I would pull
Because,
I'm stuck in life, but it's not mine
I can't begin to blink,
It's like,
My dreams are real and I wake up
And I can't begin to think,
I have no mind but I must dream
I have no mouth but I must scream
But the really sad ending is,
That if I run away
I will never get to see
Another sunny day.
