Final Breath
As I start to take it in
The quiet of the night
I think to when I couldn't breath
To when it was too bright
Breathing isn't what I give
From what I live to you
I am learning lessons Old
From eyes that are quite new
As I start to take it in
And how the world sees me
I see the brightness and the dark
And all it's meant to be
To see the world we need them both
To breath beside the cold
To feel the flame against the skin
To know the young grow old
And as I see the world again
I see the life and death
And as I fill my lungs again
I take my final Breath
