    A tiny light

     There are times I'm over aggressive
    and send out the wrong signals
    other times I become defensive
    and downright hostile.
    I fight my inner demons daily
    trying to free myself from their grip
    to put an end to this internal war
    that rages on continuously.
    It has been a long treacherous journey
    with many detours along the way
    searching for my self worth
    that I have yet to find.
    You have helped me grow as a person
    you have touched my life in the most
    incredible way and shed light into
    the darkness     that overwhelms me.
    I'm not completely out of the darkness
    but at least now there is some
    light that beckons me to move
    in that direction.

    I can relate to this well written poem as I once felt like this.Sometimes in life we all get knocked around by negative people and experiences;but need to hold onto our faith that things will workout; and that there is a heavenly father,who has a special purpose in all of our lives,even if we are not able to see it.Hang in there and keep on walking toward your dreams.Life will get better. Terry
