A Tribute to Mother Nature
Can you hear the natural choir outside?
Just for us this loving lady provides.
Mother Nature once again begins waking
Can you hear her gentle sweet call?
The entire world is beginning to stir now,
It’s been slumbering peacefully since last fall.
Birds of every shape, size and color,
And all animals of very kind,
Work so hard and endlessly,
With but one thought on their mind.
From sun up until sundown,
Never taking a moments rest.
For soon there will be little ones,
To grace each warm snug nest.
Trees flaunt their beautiful blossoms,
Flowers emit their heavenly scents.
I’ve always thought this time of year,
To be the most wonderful of events.
So step outside after a spring rain,
And you will know this for yourself.
The sweetest perfumes on this earth,
you won't find on any store shelf.
