“All I’d Do”

“All I’d Do”

There is nothing I won’t do for you

Do everything you ask

Even if it were to leave you

To put you in my past

I’d build for you the biggest house

So we could raise our kids

However big whatever cost

Where ever you want to live

I’d work long hours every day

To give you all you want

Plus all the things you do deserve

A life for you to flaunt

I’d live and die for you my love

And all which we believe

It’s you and I against the world

Forever you and me

There is a cliche at the end of your poem. It takes away from the true meaning of your work.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
