“Loving Goodbye”

“Loving Goodbye”

If you were to leave me

Where would I be

Alone and afraid

Of all that was seen

No longer withholding

Let go in a flash

If to someone new

Or someone in the past

Though loving forever

Is all that was said

Was not in the teaching

In all that I’ve read

Remembered in pictures

The laughing and song

So glad you are happy

And where you belong

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
