All Because Our Savior Died

For the suffering of death,
Jesus came into this world
To bear the sins of every man
By shedding His pure blood.

He fulfilled all righteousness for man
And shed his blood for sin,
And spread it on the mercy-seat
So heaven man could gain.

Giving power over death
And power o'er the grave,
His blood atones for sinful man
Because His life He gave--

As a ransom for the sinner
So we might look and live,
And death has no dominion
Over those who will believe--

In the saving grace of Jesus,
The Christ who bore our shame,
Complete in Him, He views us now
Without a spot nor blame.

How marvelous His great love
That He should love us so,
And view us under His dear blood
So that we may boldly go--

Into the holiest of holies
Where the blood has been applied
On the mercy-seat in heaven
All because our Savior died.
