All My Faith Is In You

I close my eyes my eyes at night
And I pray in my quite place
I can feel the moisture of my tears
Running down the side of my face

I have been praying for so long
For my life"I keep on falling"
But now I give it all to you
"O Lord can you here my calling"

I feel the pain that you felt
I spend so much my time on my knee
And as I read your word
Your vision is what I see

    I am obeying Gods commandments
I can see your work being done
I am thankful to you right now
Because this battle is already won

"I thank you for hearing my calling"
    And saving me from falling
There was nothing else I could do
And now All Of My faith Is In You

For all you mothers out there, that want your children to do better in life. Enjoy!

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
