YOUR FRIEND JESUS
Your Friend JESUS
On the day you were born,
I remember the joy
And the love we all felt,
for our new baby boy
When you cut your first tooth,
O how you cried
You cried all night long,
there by my side
How innocent and pure,
on the day you turned two
And the laughter you would bring,
with the things you would do
That time you were sick,
you really gave me a scare
I did not sleep at all,
so i could be there
With time you grew older,
I did all that I could
I left my words to guide you
to be all that you should
And now Son with love,
I am ending this letter
Now that you see,
I have made you feel better
So hold your head high,
and smile to everyone who See's us
As we share our love,
