ALL THE POETS HAVE BEEN CURSED

ALL THE POETS HAVE BEEN CURSED

All the poets have been cursed

All our lives have been rehearsed

Now the children are all grown

Can we make it on our own

All our lives we have been slaves

Expect no more than an early grave

A voice cries out to be saved

    But no one's listening anymore

Kiss my eyes dont watch me cry

Take my heart It's what you crave

The truth it hurts but a lies a lie

Now even my soul they're trying to buy

My eyes are open but the door is closed

But I will follow where the story goes

I gave my heart to an english rose

Someone told me thats the way it goes
