An Abusive Relatioonship
Don't look behind you, she tells herself.
Over and over, but she cannot help her fear.
He hasn't stopped looking, and she hasn't stopped hiding.
But whatever happens, at least Elsie will be safe.
She'll probably end up back here she was when she left.
A "vicious circle", Oh, I've tried to help her, tried my best.
But she keeps going back, even with Elsie.
But, this time it's different.
Because I have Elsie.
I'll raise her as my own, and she will never know her.
This time it's different because she hasn't called in awhile.
Because I haven't seen her in weeks.
Because she's already gone.
Oh, I will keep Elsie, and pray her mother made it out of an Abusive Relationship.
