Angel
Angel
He is like GOD to me.
The sun that gives me light, I can see.
Creator of my essence,
Responsible for my presence.
My confidence comes from inspiration.
He taught me how to be patient.
Idolized in my eyes.
The heart of a giant, what a size.
I am in his image, for I am him.
The man who touches many mens souls.
His teachings will forever be with me,
The root of my family tree.
Without he, I am a dead soul.
With he, I have total control.
A privilidge to shake his hand.
An honor to be embraced by this man.
You can hear angels sing,
Cause GOD gave you a pair of wings.
So hum an angelic tune,
To let me know that I'll see you soon.
You said, "Woogie get in gear".
And now failure is my only fear.
Be forgiving, that I am.
Fury is gone, to a far off land.
Absent in the physical,
Got me feeling miserable.
Pictures of happiness gone.
As I wept from dusk til dawn.
I will carry out your duties,
for your work is not done.
I will forever be humble,
Not forgetting where I come from.
Want you here for selfish reasons.
I wish I knew you were leaving.
But knowing that you feel no pain,
Is what helps me maintain.
So when you meet an angel,
Look to the sky,
For I know now that
my grandfather can fly.
The sun that gives me light, I can see.
Creator of my essence,
Responsible for my presence.
My confidence comes from inspiration.
He taught me how to be patient.
Idolized in my eyes.
