    As I Walk Through Life

    As I walk through life,
I do not stop to smell the roses
    For fear of getting stung.
    As I walk through life,
I do not look to closely at the people who pass by
For fear one might come to know me.
    As I walk through life,
I do not allow myself to feel joy
For fear I will never feel it again.
    As I walk through lfe,
    I make no friends
For fear I will loose them.
    As I walk through life,
    I don not live
Bcause I know one day it will end.

I really like your Poem,it has a true meaning of its own.I,m Jane and I,am new here.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
