Senseless
Senseless
I am so senseless,
But is that such a bad thing?
I am color blind:
There are many colors throughout our world,
Yet there is no difference to me.
Black, white, brown, or spotted,
People are all the same.
I am deaf to the difference:
Many languages thrown about,
But it all means the same.
I am mute:
Racial slurs coming from all directions,
Yet none will I repeat.
I am without smell:
My nose does not turn up
I am no better than any one.
I am without feeling:
Your skin feels the same,
A heart beats just below the surface,
Life giving blood through your veins pump.
We are the same,
I feel no difference.
I am so senseless,
But is that such a bad thing?
