    Be my Valentine

     

    Be my valentine,

    Eagerly I must wait,

    My heart is mortgaged,

    your love is my fate,

    Vacancy of the heart,

    Always you have been great,

    Loving you is awesome,

    Especially if we date,

    Nobility I have because of you,

    Thanks so much, don’t hate,

    I have so much faith,

    No works with faith, is late,

    Exile I wait, its valentines for heavens sake.

    lol interesting poem and format. It reminded me of the first attempts we make at poetry as children. I especially found the mortgaged heart and the vacancy of the heart lines compelling. I like the playful obviousness in your last line. Well done.
