Bleeding sorrow
Bleeding Sorrow
The cold hard ground, beneath her feet
The wind, so sharp and cold
Tears that streak her tender skin
A story, now unfolds...
Lips of red, eyes so blue
Her sadness lingers on...
The void that once was filled with joy
Now lost from what she has become
Flowers, dead and rotting
On vines of bitter thorns
Blood that drips from the wounds
A heart beaten, broken, and torn...
Every step now taken
Along the path of destiny
Leads to all illusions
That her soul will soon be free
In the distance she can smell
The sorrow, as it bleeds...
Seeping softly from the flesh
The flesh she now does need
And as she cradles her in her arms
And wipes the pain away...
She whispers to her softly
Let me give you what you crave...
She gently takes her by the hand
Wraps her arm around her waist...
Guiding her, ever gently
To her final resting place
She takes her face within her hands
Kissing her tenderly...
And as the tears begin again
Her soul, she now sets free
Without hesitation.. .
She sinks her teeth in deep
And as she struggles from the pain
Her blood, she now does drink
She lays her lifeless body
Upon the cold, hard ground
And in the darkness, she begins to weep
From the life to which she's bound...
The flesh, now lays beside her
Blue eyes, turned to grey
Crimson tears streak her face
Satisfied by her prey...
