Blinded By Truth (7/27/2007)
Away on vacation
Suppose to be visiting family
The last thing on your mind
Should be cheating
Out in the club
Dancing with those three girls
Got drunk at the bar
Took them to your room
Laying them down you took them on a trip around the world
For a year you kept this secret
Buried in your mind and way from me
Still little did I know
That you were going to cheat
Gave you my heart
Mind, body and soul
But little did you
The truth would surely unfold
I never wanted to know or to believe
You left me hurt, deceived, and confused too
But what you did not know
Was the truth that was blinded
I had already knew.
Suppose to be visiting family
The last thing on your mind
Should be cheating
Out in the club
Dancing with those three girls
Got drunk at the bar
Took them to your room
Laying them down you took them on a trip around the world
For a year you kept this secret
Buried in your mind and way from me
Still little did I know
That you were going to cheat
Gave you my heart
Mind, body and soul
But little did you
The truth would surely unfold
I never wanted to know or to believe
You left me hurt, deceived, and confused too
But what you did not know
Was the truth that was blinded
I had already knew.
