Lost In The Night (7/27/2007)
A lonely man walks the night streets
Miserable, worn out, looking for a place to sleep
Nobody pays him any mind
Nobody wants to listen to his misunderstood cries.
A lonely woman walks the nights streets
Ragged out clothes, no shoes on her feet
People pass her by
As she lays there to die
A lonely girl runs the nights streets
No clothes on her body, no one special to be
A man forces her to sell her body
So he can make quick money
Two lonely children walk the night streets
Ashamed, abused and no food to eat
Other kids run by laughing in their face
All their life they have felt like a disgrace to the human race
Mistreated, used, abused and confused
This lonely man, woman, girl and two children
Are walking, running, trying to survive the cold and dank streets
Little did anyone know
That they were a homeless family.
Miserable, worn out, looking for a place to sleep
Nobody pays him any mind
Nobody wants to listen to his misunderstood cries.
A lonely woman walks the nights streets
Ragged out clothes, no shoes on her feet
People pass her by
As she lays there to die
A lonely girl runs the nights streets
No clothes on her body, no one special to be
A man forces her to sell her body
So he can make quick money
Two lonely children walk the night streets
Ashamed, abused and no food to eat
Other kids run by laughing in their face
All their life they have felt like a disgrace to the human race
Mistreated, used, abused and confused
This lonely man, woman, girl and two children
Are walking, running, trying to survive the cold and dank streets
Little did anyone know
That they were a homeless family.
