Breath
When someone wrote about someone else
Taking their breath away
I didn't it could literally happen
I thought it was just a sweet quote
Well I've found out that I was wrong
You literally take my breath away
Whenever I talk to you
I find it hard to breathe
You would think that it's a horrible feeling
But it's just the opposite
It is the most incredible feeling ever
Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.
