    Buzzed Banana 10/18/10

    Banana, banana, on my plate
Why do you taste so great
    With your yellow skin
    And spots of brown
    Shaped like a smile
You turn my frown upside down
    You taste good in cereal
    And with nuts in bread
But I make sure I never eat you
    Before going to bed
    Banana, banana, on my plate
I still don't know why you taste so great

haha thanks. It was a poetry challenge using the word banana and I happened to be buzzed while writing it, hence the name. lol :)

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
