    Breathe me

Breathe into me, see into me
Feel my emotions run wild within me
Let me explore your heavenly body
Allow yourself to be only for me
    I love, I hate you
    Stop playing these games
I forfeit, you quit, but nobody’s lost
You are my oasis and I am your desert
I found you while you were quenching my thirst
Away we will go where nobody’s looking
They will search for us but we will not show
    We now have each other
    Nobody matters
If you feel this for me
    Please let me know
However don’t hurt me, for I am now fragile
I have been drowning in hot salty tears
Forget both our pasts and hold me forever
    There’s you and there’s me
    But there are no fears

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
