Chains of the Unknown
In a grey darkening room she awoke.
Around her ankle, a shackle
with a chain that ran
all the way out
the door.
Kling, kling, kling, kling.....
kling.
Slowly, it began reeling her in.
"What is this?'' She screamed.
But the silence just kept
reeling.
With sweaty hands she held firm
to the rusty chain.
Kling, kling, kling, kling.....
kling.
The doorway, now closer.
The new threat!
Peaking around the corner into the
dark hallway.
Only darkness and uncertainty!
Kling, kling, kling, kling.....
kling
''Dear god, please!'' She prayed,
as the dark shape began
its approach.
''I am the keeper of the Darkness!'',
it spoke with a mean,
dark, deep whisper.
Kling...... kling.......
With a tone that became more angry,
the dark image spoke again.
"I have been in your every
thought, and now you
would rip off your
leg to escape
me?''
kling..................
She just screamed as the dark
unknown beast swallowed
her down.
Baby, wake up!
Are you all right?
No, I had the scariest dream!
Oh, that fertility thing
again.
