Silence
Haunted by my grief forever.
And I can't let it go.
Just hard to walk away sometimes
from things I'll never know.
Behind a mask of smiles it pleads.
Please just let me out.
But like a mime, I'm lost for words.
I just cant say what it's about.
My garden's Greek to all that's not.
Teardrops make the rain.
Secrets buried long ago,
now loom as trees of pain.
Forbidden fruit, my tree of life.
In the center of it all.
With branches up and out of reach.
Above the rest you stand so tall.
But that's forbidden. The only hope.
When everything is grey.
And silence, well that's all there is.
When there's nothing I can say.
