The Damsel
Okay, alright! I hear your cries echoing off thesedungeon walls till I can't sleep anymore.
Dirty, and bleeding you lye there on the floor.
His lies still stinking up the air. Even now the beast
stands over you. Flashing them razor sharp teeth.
Deceit written in his eyes. And oh yes, you!
You still believe he can be tamed. Even as he
is at this very moment coming in for the kill.
And me, tied to my chair! All I want is to rescue
a beautiful angel such as yourself. But tonight
the demon gets his wish. The devil smiles and
wraps his arms around you as if to say he's sorry.
But you know better. I know better! Even so
you will give yourself over to him
and your cries will forever haunt this dungeon.
