COLD DARK DAYS

A cold and dreary day leaves feelings of dismay
Dark skies above leaves sighs of lost love
Cold and damp is the day
No sounds of morning birds in play
The air is moist and soft
With the scent of the evening frost
The breeze is strong to still
As if to damper your will
The cold seems to take your soul
As you wait for this day to pass
To see the sun at last

Hello, why do u fear on a boring day or discouraged? Discourage on what? You're just really bored huh... Well I suggest u read your favorite book or a magazine with a controversial topic, time will go by fast & u learned something about life, try it & good luck.

I like this alot!

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
