    GOOD-BYE

Today I buried what I thought was my friend
Even though he promised to be with me till the end
You lead me to trouble and that’s the fact
And I believed you when you said you had my back
I now believe this was your sick game
And I was some animal you were trying to tame
For many years I let you be my boss
Now look at how much time I have lost
You told me no one cared
As you sent me where most never dared
Now as we part our separate ways
I can look forward to seeing better days
Now that you’re buried and you are dead
I hope you stay the f—ck out my head

    wow

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
