Cupid's Bow and Arrow

Cupid's Bow and Arrow

Amusing it be if cupid aimed his arrow
At the agile dancer in the
dance academy so I can tango
At the chef that will make me
the exquisite dessert of mango

At the talented artist in the studio
that will draw my silhouette from head to toe
At the tour guide in a foreign country
to invite me to places I've been to rarely
At the popular modeling agent
so I learn to walk and pose very buoyant

At the creative fashion designer
to have dresses and shoes of glamour
At the newest music artist in the business
so his lyrics will say something sweet to me
At the brightest movie producer
to have the best script of an actress
At the most attractive fitness trainer
to workout with me and tone my body to lust for
At the Bugatti Veyron car owner
to drive the most expensive car in the world
At the luxurious watch designer
so I can sport the 201-carat Chopard

At the most brilliant guy of architects
to build the house of my dreams
At the owner of the Phenomenon
so to say I sailed with the best boatman
Amazed I'd be, if one truly loved me

What is it all without love? I like the way you built this poem and how it ended. I see a lot of saddness is underlying your words.

This poem was fun to read, and when I read the last sentence, it made me think. So I had to read it over again, and it was even better the second time. I really enjoyed this poem.

I'm glad you enjoyed reading the poem. Thanks for the comment.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
