Dancing With...?
Engage with me in this morbid dance
Let our feet glide, untrembeling,
Over the broken glass
We so willingly smashed
On this perfect floor
Let our hands be gracefully bound
By the razor wire we protected
Our unblemished flesh with
Step with me as I lead you into
Nowhere
Follow my touch as it feels without
Trust
Close your eyes as I blindly
Carry on
Smell my sweet breath
That tastes like a dead
Rose
Kiss my soft lips
And betray this final dance
As you leave me here holding nothing
But a decaying bride in an empty dress
Let our feet glide, untrembeling,
Over the broken glass
We so willingly smashed
On this perfect floor
Let our hands be gracefully bound
By the razor wire we protected
Our unblemished flesh with
Step with me as I lead you into
Nowhere
Follow my touch as it feels without
Trust
Close your eyes as I blindly
Carry on
Smell my sweet breath
That tastes like a dead
Rose
Kiss my soft lips
And betray this final dance
As you leave me here holding nothing
But a decaying bride in an empty dress
