    Dark Skies

Rocks flew against the night sky
    Weeping trees bent and broke
    Storms come in the darkness
    Holding hands with death
    They dance around us
    Merrily choosing victims at random
    Everything left behind now
    Sticks and memories scattered
    Survivors shocked at being alive
They saw the dark skies coming

I believe your describing a tornado and it is a destructive force that will put fear into one's heart.

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
