    Hidden

There is nothing in the sky
Milky white clouds blot out the sun
Surely it must still be there
    Far away and aloof
    Choosing to stay hidden
    The sky remembers everything
    Shadow and reality entwine
Leaving a trail of smoke to follow
    As bits and pieces crumble
    Like the ancient stone cathedrals
Rubble turns to sand and blows away
Across the skies to arid deserts
    Where the relentless sun abides
