Darkness

Darkness

Black as the night ,my heart without you, still as the moon, the empty feeling of mourning.Bitterness never to subside, only to create hardness.Where there once was love, taken ,never too return. The overwhelming silence,of the dead.Kindness exchanged for defamation, left the unwilling without.Tackled with adversity, the innocent by evil.Never to return the beauty within.Never will be forgivness nor reconcile, the wax of there hearts, with coldness. There beauty nor faithfulness never to shine............The sickness and scorched tounges, twisted with lies, made to dust, and scorpians, rolled off like a four edge sword, sharp, meaningless.Executed by there word.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
