Dim Of Light
How can your light, be so
bright and filled with love,
then start to cloud up,
from the darkness above.
Why say you love me,if
thats not what you mean,
your actions speak lou-
der,as your light begins
to demean.I feel your light,
with the hurt coming in,no
where to run,its burning
my skin.
I may be a man,with pride
and a toughening shell,but
what you have done,could
only be described in hell.
She has hurt me before,
just in the past,I am hoping
this time,it will be her last.
Why am I still here, taking this
pain once again,this hurt must
stop,for our lives to begin.
Just because Im a man,does-
nt mean I dont feel her dag-
gers.I am the wall,and she
is the tagger.
Maybe I am wrong,for pointing
the finger,this cancer must
stop,or it will continue to
linger.I will do my part,
and you do the same.
The bleeding must stop,
or we will continue to maim.
A heartbeat of one,is the
light of true love,this light
will shine through...even
the darkest clouds above.
bright and filled with love,
then start to cloud up,
from the darkness above.
Why say you love me,if
thats not what you mean,
your actions speak lou-
der,as your light begins
to demean.I feel your light,
with the hurt coming in,no
