Talking Mountain
Try climbing a hill, that is steepand very high,This trek alone
could make a grown man cry.
Now try climbing this mountain,
with obstacles and a voice,all
effort getting harder,making
it impossible to rejoice.
That's what it's like,when trying
to make amends,once sharing
this path, you are now forced to
depend.
Depending used to be good,when
they were right beside,comforing
with strength,you have now ex-
posed your hide.
You trusted and loved,and let
this person in,they now choose
to destroy,little by little,and
deep from within.
We all have battles,which be-
gan with two hearts,one needs
to be strong,so the other does
not break apart.
It should'nt matter,which heart
feels the void, what lttle you have
left,they are trying to avoid.
This is what hurts,giving your
all,and still not enough,what
was once your rock,is turning
to dust.
Relying on each other,was al-
ways a must, this dust has be-
gun to settle,layering her heart,
with an outer crust.
As I look higher,I can barely
see any good to an end, trying
not to ponder,when this begin-
ning had an end.
I will make it to the top,I am
this person inside,walking past
her and over the edge,is where
I will reside.
