We wake each day to see her smiling face,
its another day she has blessed us with
her grace.
We know her as Noni,the one who used
to bake cookies and pies,but always a
special cake.
She sometimes is alert,and remembers the
days gone past,but in the family we know,
this may not last.
She sometimes lashes out,probably not in
anger,but through frustration from the words,
that may not linger.
She smiles and laughs,and thats what we
have today,will there be a tomorrow,for
another memorable day.She sits there quietly,
almost content and serene,we hope so much,
she has thoughts of remembering.
This our Noni,our grandma,and my Ponzi too,
our thoughts and memories are what we
have of you.
You may not feel that you are in our hearts,
but in this family,you are a very integral part.
Well Noni,tomorrow will bring another special
day,please bring us your smile,so that you
may happily pave the the day.
Ponzi,Noni,or just sweet Rose too,memories
