Addiction
Having something control you,is hard enough, when a drug
has a grip,you know,this is
no bluff.
You can say in your mind, that
you are alright,your body and
actions show all,looking pale,
from sleepless nights.
When you are sober,your mind
says,"we should stop,"but after
that first hit,you are a tractor,
and your mind is the crop.
The damage your doing,is irr-
eprable,which effects every-
one around,they often not-
ice,and dont want to be found.
When a loved one is addicted,
and chooses to press on down,
your family hurts the most,think-
ing of you,being underground.
So that's when you step back,
and look at what you've created,
your friends and family will
lend support,and be so elated.
So,it's up to you,and only you,
who can start this road to re-
covery,a new life without add-
iction,re-teaching yourself,
on how to discover.
